The Clockwork Factory feels like taken from som kids cartoon show, and for me sets a nice tone for a game with childish (in a positive way) aestetics; torsdag, a whimiscal hero and a world to explore. Wind-up robots would for sure fit in here!

The more elaborate soundscape in Passing... would suit a more varied game level where our hero explores a bigger world.

Your use of a ticking sound of course ties into the theme but also gives a snse pm time being important in the game play.
