Thank You for playing and for commenting. The mouse controls (and therefore the camera) seems to behave different in the web builf than in the editor, something to take note of for next 3ps.

While I still have to manage to find the exit, I really like the sense of "freedom" running around in the maze. The robots are amazingly frighttful due to their size and sound. The view got osbcured by walls at times, but easy enough to manouvre around.
There is a sound in the (nice and majestic) music that gives me the feeling of something bad is about to happen (like the safe zone in Fortnite shrinking), but I guess it is just an element in the music?
All in all a really nice take on the cover with a nice feel to it!
After getting the hang of the controls it was really nice to drift around in the maze. The (IMHO) small viewport (compared to the maze size) added a neat extra challenge (as well as frustration at times :D). At one point I got stuck in the wall and could not get free, but it may have been due to my own inability combined with impatience ... :D
The frantic music added a nice stress to the game, even though it isn't really that stressful.
Great work!
I must confess that while I remember Paradroid as an awesome game with the take over part, I had forgotten how it was done. This is not onlu an excellent "refresher" , it is also a fun game in it self.
One of those games that makes me feel "just one more time", which is a very good achievment.
Really great job!
This is an absolutely stunning "replica" of the cover. Not only the robots and the maze walls that are verbatim copies of the cover, but also including the (for the console) so typical in-game screen shoots on the cover AND making them a part of the gameplay. Really nice!
Need to play it more to get the hang of it, but I for sure will!
Really awesome work!
Thank You all for participating, loved to see the submissions. Interesting that all submissions used the same cover, and maybe the least known cover of the bunch?
The rating period is soon over, and with that this game jam., but reggardless of ratings, remember that You who submitted are all winners.
The fourth edition of the Cover-Up Jam will be in the latter part of October and will have covers with a horror/spooky/halloween theme, and will be announced during the weekend.
