The percussive ticking sets the tone that it is about time, but doesn’t necessarily sound like a clock I’ve heard - which is a cool effect. I like the world-creating sound effects throughout. I am definitely imagining a cave deep underground with all the echoes and the drop-like effects. There is a really beautiful somber feeling at the end when the ticking goes way into the background. I really like those chord swells that emerge! Then the ticking sounds like it walks right up to you! This is a creative ambient track that would fit the kind of world you are imagining.
