I think the MC just wanted to die.

The rope ends in a noose on the camera in Echo's neck. As time time move forward the noose get's tighter...

And the fact that the MC killed himself once...

Also, Echo's departure in Sissel's route kinda supports this idea.

Though thematically I think it could also be that Euca wished for Love or Friends or a family.

IDK but either way I can't wait to find out.

Well I left with the impression that he never really wanted to be fulfilled at all. Also the camera rope around Echo's neck looks strikingly similar to the noose around the remanent's neck, so I think there's some similarity there. But if he was a death wish why would echo not just be a remanent? Idk man, I'm just excited to find out!

Yeah I definitely think that Echo, the Remanent and Euca are all connected. It would make sense too why the Remanent kept getting involved with Euca and his friends.

That was 10 months ago and there was already a fair amount of possible evidence; it has only become more consistent since. 🥺🥺

I think I there were even some minor word changes a few versions back made a few double-entendres more clearly point to it. 😭😭😭
