I actually didn't know that a magnet extension existed. The ball is just a dynamic physics body and when the magnet is on I apply a force towards the magnet from the body's mass center, then I simply deactivate the physics behavior when it touches the magnet and set the balls position to a point in front of the magnet. It is probably not what you are looking for but I hope it helps

Ok great that's a good idea for next time but I have not use physics body in my game this time...
