I really wanted to give this game a proper review, however, I encountered two game-breaking bugs making such actually impossible. A non bug issue to also be mentioned was the lack of UI elements and the ability to turn off the motion blur was a major problemfor me, as the blur was exceptionally nauseating and I had to move very carefully to avoid it.

Still attempting to play despite that, I managed to go through the beginning item gathering but until I got the mannequin and threw blood on it in the bedroom, the mannequin would not move after hiding my eyes and the MC would just say "I need to bring the mannequin" by the doorway as if there was some sequence break occurring. Attempting to renter the basement made me go to a beige screen that I could still cover my eyes in, but was unable to move in the world anymore. I attempted again to reload and play the game in case it was a one-time bug, but the same bug occurred.

I really enjoy the premise of the game though, it's very beautiful and the voice-acted lines were solid. I think the writing was pretty well done, and I found the maze-like pattern of the house to be very interesting. It seemed odd you could "pick a mannequin," but that was also interesting and could be a fun feature in the game.  The throwing blood mechanic was fun and cool, though the blood would immediately disappear off the mannequin once I closed my eyes and appear only on the ground afterward (may be related to the bug I experienced.)

Once the bug is fixed and the UI elements/options are in place for accessibility, this game could be really fun and interesting as it has some seriously beautiful graphics and a solid premise. I hope the developers continue to have fun on this project, as it still just looks so cool!

Thanks HappyCapyCoffee 🙏 for the thorough review and effort attempting to play twice to avoid that bug. We've made several full walkthroughs and fixed some bugs. We didn't find that one but we'll replicate your steps to find it. I guess you played the second version, right? Anyway, thanks for taking the time to play. Agreed 100% on the motion blur and UI. This game need the UI to disable/tweak many options. HDRP is heavy and many users will need to adjust a few things.

Most interesting part will be the second, the actual hide-and-seek game 🥳 IT's the actual core of the game, but I'm afraid we got lost a bit on the game introduction and scene setup.
