Thanks. I did read through the rules to check. The other jam is a Halloween VN jam and from what I understand of this jam's rules, VNs are allowed so long as they have plenty of choices that affect the game. My plan at this point is to have a magical creature going under cover as a human to solve a since mystery VNs have a lot of opportunities for the players decisions to affect the ending.
