Hey there! Thank you for this detailed comment and for trying the game! Also, thanks for your honesty! Demon hunting and some other things were done in the last hours before the jam ended. I didn't have enough time to make online highscores, but I've added the option to save scores (which sadly nobody used "Save&SeeScores"). Characters in the game walk square by square. I really prefer this method and I almost use it in every game project. It worked fine on a localhost, but it works a little bit slowly when I host it on a server machine. The server is located in Europe, so it might work slower for people that are not from Europe. I don't think I will finish this game since I'm not allowed to do that in the jam. Once again, thanks so much for the comment, it means a lot to me!

No problems :)
Ah, there was a save&scores button, I didn't even see that
About the speeds - I don't think there is a huge difference between the hostings, in the end the game is played locally isn't it? Only the scores are loaded to and from the server. Still, alright then, if that was a conscious decision. Well, I don't even remember when was the last time I played tile-based games with fixed movement, so maybe for this genre the acceptable range of speed is a bit different.

Well, you're not allowed to edit the game in the context of the jam ratings - you need to initially have your entry submitted for others to look at what you achieved in this time, but who's to say you can't use what you already developed to make something outside of this scope, for youself, your own pleasure? It's still your game :)
