You know what gets me the most about this? Somehow I found it really, really unsettling. Maybe it's just the expectation given it's part of a Dread XP game jam but a combination of the oldschool style graphics, surreal music loop and emptiness gave me the creeps all over! I wouldn't have been surprised if something really creepy had happened at the end, honestly.
Also... you really got me with those MacGuffins, I had that nostalgic urge to collect EVERYTHING.
