Hello. Having to wait 15 minutes to upload 300MB is not a real problem.

I recommend that you use different tabs in your browser while uploading games, that way you can continue doing things while you wait for those horrible 15 minutes.

Another option is to use buttler, with a simple .bat you can automate the upload and leave it in the background, while you take advantage of going for a walk, buying a coffee or reading a book, there are many useful things you can do while your computer uploads those MB.

Now, if for some reason, it is impossible for you to divert your attention and do any other task and you have to pay attention to how the upload bar goes up, you may have some type of disorder that it would be better to discuss with a specialist.

If you really want to know if there is some kind of problem with the upload servers, it is best to ask or report it to support, but I advise you to try to be less hostile and ask the question in a way that sounds more polite and less like a huff.

Luck.

When it should take seconds? I mean, we're talking about hundred of times slower? It is a problem. 300 MB is ridiculously small :)

I used to drag and drop ALL of my .zip and it would be over in a matter of seconds, but it is not the case anymore, so, yeah, it's a big deal :)

I now have to do them 1 by 1 and wait an eternity for it to complete the upload

I would be less hostile if this was not going on for 2 weeks or something :)

Thank you for answering me though!

Hi again.

As far as I know, Itch nowhere commits to maintaining a minimum upload or download speed. That at some point it works better for you is not a commitment that it should always be that way and 15 minutes for 300 MB is not a bad speed.

If I have to guess, these dates usually have a lot more people uploading games, due to the holidays. This is possibly the problem. Still, if you think there is a problem with the servers, you can report it or consult support. (On this forum the only person who might have information is the admin and I doubt he is constantly watching this forum)

I understand that it may bother you, could do in a few seconds now takes minutes. But there is a difference between something bothering you and it objectively being a problem. For the same reason, If your question sounds like a tantrum instead of a reasonable question, it is very possible that people will ignore it.

Objectively the uploading games is working.

In the meantime, my advice is to try use buttler, that way you can automate the upload of several files.

Good luck and I hope your upload speed improves.
