No problem! I tried my luck with programming in school and... decided against continuing that path. And I've heard enough stories from developers to know that it is a grind even if you somewhat know what you are doing.

I installed it on a hard drive. (The SSD is for Windows.)
NViDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti     (4 GB VRAM)
16 GB RAM
I can open the game but even the mouse pointer in the menu lags a bit. And in the game it also felt like the framerate went slowly down bit by bit. When I got to the village it was basically unplayable.
And another thing, - maybe it's already in the hotfix - the dodge did not work.

I think the issue about the system.  Your are edge of the minimum system requirements.   If you can try the game in a different pc , please let me know if the issue will be gone.   If you followed us, you know we swtich to unreal engine 5  with this update and i think we may edit our minimum system requiments .  Probably  we have to set it as 6 GB ram because some of the 4GB gpu have trouble :( sorry for that

The edge of requirements? Well this PC is from 2016 (for Witcher 3) and I had to downgrade on the graphics card because the original one died, so I guess it it time to upgrade again. Once I have the money.

Ok, thank you for your time to solve the mystery and I look forward to further game updates. And being able to play them. :-)
