In Greenland, since it is close to the pole, the periods of darkness as well as the periods of light last six months, but the days are the same as here; simply, for half the year the sun doesn't set the evening, and for the other half he isn't rising in the morning :)

Wow, is this from real life? Before I knew about it, I thought it was just in anime or movies. It's so beautiful. Is it rare, too?

It is very rare in our regions, but the further you go towards the pole, the more frequent it is.

(It might inspire you if you one day develop a game set in the far north.)
