I cannot wait any longer

(+1)

Well it is said 7th November is the latest date of release on the blog post. Just wait a couple of hours more 😁

(+3)

mmmm first they said 6 November 😅

(+1)

And no news from them so far 😭😭😭😭

Developer

I apologize for the late response; during that time, we were extremely busy. Various issues kept arising, such as a team member in charge of marketing falling ill, and the art development guy experiencing sleep deprivation, among other challenges. :((

Developer

I've just released the demo, and the official version will be launched at the end of November. I hope you can enjoy the demo in the meantime! :3

(+2)

Yeah, I'd also like an update.

Thank you for your kind words aimed at deescalating things in the first place.

Yeah, we should have announced it earlier instead of letting the delay be announced at the last minute.

The extended time is also based on calculations of the amount of work involved. We genuinely hope that we can meet the deadline this time. Honestly, on itch, I've found that there are many nice guys like you who support and are kind to us. :3 I can also understand their frustration because of us, too. :D

Hope things will turn out right on time this time. :3

(+1)

They did say no later than the 7th.

(+1)

can you say where the creator is from because here in Germany its right now the 8 November

(+2)

Unikorn10128168 has not logged into Discord even once today, so he's ghosting us as there must be an issue/delay

(-1)

It was announced that the game would be released on November 7, but it was not specified in what year.

Be patient...

5-6 days would obv mean this year 🤣🤣🤣

(+1)

In Greenland the days last 6 months, it is perhaps in this country that the programming center is located, who knows? 🤣

(+1)

I contacted the author these two days, but he hasn't replied. I guess there must be something wrong, otherwise it wouldn't have taken so long.

Developer

Oh my gosh, I just found out about it. I'm kind of curious about the past six months @_@

It was a joke... :

Developer

Oh my gosh, I thought it was real. Shame on me! @@ Feeling so embarrassed now. ><

In Greenland, since it is close to the pole, the periods of darkness as well as the periods of light last six months, but the days are the same as here; simply, for half the year the sun doesn't set the evening, and for the other half he isn't rising in the morning :)

Developer

Oh @_@, but wait, does that mean there will be six months where the sun doesn't set in the evening for the whole day, right? That would be bad for me because I like darkness when sleepingggg

Indeed it's sad, but on the other hand there are superb northern lights.

Developer

I'm sorry for the late reply; we were very busy at that time. We faced several challenges, including a marketing team member getting sick and the art development person dealing with sleep deprivation, among other issues. :(( Now that the demo is out, I hope you like it and look forward to the official release! :3

(+1)

I suggest us wait patiently, the time and time zone are not much different. The author either has something at home or at work, or there is something wrong with the game, so he hasn't replied to us.

Thanks for your understanding and patience; we were extremely busy during that time. We encountered several challenges, even when we wanted to release the demo. Unity kept freezing, and each time it took us many hours to troubleshoot and fix the issues, causing the demo to be released later than announced. :(( Now that the demo is out, I hope you like it and are looking forward to the official release! :3

(+1)

Yeah.. not sure about this one.

(+3)

I have to admit, this radio silence is rather annoying. And to think that the original release date for this game was 21 September! I am honestly appalled at the dev’s time management- this is unacceptable. Given how they have delayed the release 4 times already, any more excuses will be precisely that, excuses. This game’s devs need to come clean on what is going on and be honest about how much work is incomplete. I doubt they even had a running build on original scheduled date (when they announced a whole month’s delay) and I wouldn’t be too surprised if they don’t have one even now. I think such irresponsible time management needs to be called out, especially when you have asked customers to pre order!

Developer(-1)

I apologize for the delayed response; during that time, we were extremely busy.

Various issues kept arising, including a team member in charge of marketing falling ill and the art development guy experiencing sleep deprivation, among other challenges. :((

After discussing and considering the workload and time management, we decided to release it at the end of November, hoping it will be on time this time.

I've just released the demo, and I hope you can enjoy it in the meantime! :3

It’s alright- I cannot be angry with you for too long haha! Take your time and take care of yourself. Whenever the game is out, I am sure it’ll be worth all the delays!

Developer(-1)

Glad to hear that! :3 Thank you so much. Yeah, after releasing the demo, the dev-artist guy got a straight 7 hours of sleep, and I myself got a full night's sleep and am recovering. :D I hope it would worth for you guys enjoy it! :3

(+1)
hope they are safe
Developer(-1)

We're doing fine, thank you for your concern. It's just that our marketing team member fell ill, and our development artist is experiencing sleep deprivation. With the game demanding our attention, we didn't have enough time to reply during that period.

Developer(+3)(-6)

Hello everyone, I'm Sam.  I want to apologize for my late response. Unfortunately, we have to announce that the release date must be postponed by a few more days

(-̩̩-̩̩͡_-̩̩-̩̩͡) .

Our dedicated developer and artist, Yeti, has been working tirelessly to resolve unexpected bugs, even at the cost of sleep, but we haven't managed to fix all the issues just yet (;´Д`) .

We truly appreciate your patience, and we're still hard at work.

On a positive note, we have news – we will be releasing the Lancelot demo tonight! We will share all the details through a post and email to each of you. Once again, I'm sorry for the delay, and thank you for your ongoing support.

(。>﹏<。)

(+6)

I don’t believe you anymore.

Developer (1 edit)

(-̩̩-̩̩͡_-̩̩-̩̩͡)   The demo is now released! I hope you enjoy it in the meantime.

(+1)

then release the game now and then make updates little by little

Developer(-1)

Our delay may have caused some disappointment, and we apologize for that. The demo is now released! We hope you enjoy it in the meantime.

(1 edit) (+2)

Normally, I don’t really care about delay in releasing something. We all know that sometimes, things don’t go as we all planned and that’s life. But earlier this month, you said a demo was going to be release and it didn’t happen.

Today, you said a demo was going to be release in the evening and once again, it didn’t happen.

You can take the time you want about the game, i won’t clinge a bit. Only, in my mind, you can’t just say something and do nothing. That’s sad for us, who has some expectation and it’s bad for you and all the next game you’ll work on.

Hope everything will go has you planned. We’ll be waiting.

Developer(-1)

Yeah, it didn't turn out as we planned.

Right when I tried to release the demo, Unity kept freezing for hours, and it could only be resolved after a few days. During those few days, we kept figuring out and addressing the issue.

We're sorry for making you guys sad :(((

Now that the demo is out, I hope you like it and look forward to the official release! :3

Developer(+2)(-4)

Please bear with us, everyone. We are currently facing an issue with Unity; it has a freeze fault while building the demo. This is causing a delay in building and uploading, and we are working hard to resolve this and will update you as soon as possible. Just a small notice to let you know that we are still here and actively addressing the situation.

Yes I can understand it. I hope the team can solve these problems smoothly. It doesn't matter if it can be a little later. By the way, I want to ask again  Is this game the same as Dick journey  Have a key?If so, then I have to worry about whether I can't play either. I tried vpn last time, but useless

Developer(-1)

Yes, this game also has a key, similar to Dik Journey. If you're unable to play it on itch or Gum, you can wait until I release it on Steam; I believe you should be able to play it there, right? :D Alternatively, there may be other options. Some of my guests, including those from China, have been able to download and play it on Gumroad or Itch.

(+2)

Counting down to the release now- and really hoping there are no more sudden delays *fingers crossed*

Developer(-1)

It won't, and I also hope it doesn't. (~_~メ)

(+2)

Is it releasing, finally? Or is there another one of those convenient delays? Haha

Dang, yall can't keep a deadline, huh?

I have sent a message and still haven't heard a reply back.  this was 5 days ago

My question is why send the game out through emails when you could just upload it here on itch.io? Just seems counterintuitive for people who preordered through itch.io.
