Hello, I had a few questions about the new rules.

How would I determine how much AP an NPC has?

Also on page 39 it says there are four subtypes, but only three are listed

Oops! You got me on the last part, I really need proofreaders. As for AP, all NPCs have 3 AP, generally speaking. I should have made that explicit. If you want to add more, you can just consider the level of experience you want the hunter to have (as only Hunters would be able to be so strong) and say this:

3 AP - Human Ability

4 AP - Peak Human Ability

5 AP - Superhuman Ability

HOWEVER, I would suggest keeping them at 3 AP unless its necessary to put them on equal footing with player hunters. Best to not let NPCs steal the players' thunder.

Are monsters also meant to have 3 AP?

Yep! That's the idea. It might seem a little stacked in player favor, but usually monster abilities will make up for it.
