The pan weighs 1 kg giving the heavy side a total mass of 1.25 kg, but I can understand why this would be confusing. You were on the right track for the solution though.
Yeah, I did not think pans had weights. Maybe a level before showing 2 pans vs 1 pans. Or just an intro screen that cuts 1 pan and the other one weights down.
