In my opinion, I think it’s better to increase the base recharging rate of the jetpack a little bit. Unlike Hailey, Annie can’t jump, so it seems that too often she has to be hit. But this was a perfect experience with no problems after giving 1 point to the recharging rate.

The fuel consumption of the action also seems to be pretty high, especially Ground Blast and Dash, which use about 6/10 when they’re at 100% fuel, but they could use 4/10 when fuel being recharged from 0%. I don’t know which of them is the intended consumption, but I think 4/10 is just about right.

In conclusion, I think the fuel part is based on an upgrade. I don’t know at what point players will be able to upgrade in the official version, but I personally feel pretty frustrated with jetpack usage until then.

PS. I touched SaveData a little bit because I wanted to compare before and after the upgrade, but is it correct that money is not provided in the test version?

I think the best thing I could have done is giving enough money to try out different upgrades. A fully upgraded gameplay felt too easy for me.

That use of dash around 40% or 10% while in air is intended. There will be some levels design around that feature. Player will have to use the last 10% of charge to dash to cover remaining distance. Ground blast will send enemies flying off to greater distance giving you time to walk around and recharge some fuel. But only deal 4 point damage (multiplied by attack power).

I agree that the game will be easier once it’s fully upgraded.

How about put some items on a specific stage that you can upgrade with money, like fuel recharging, increased Health, attack power?

That way, I think you can control the difficulty of the game or the player in the intended direction to some extent.

There are some consumable in games that will help. Battery pack will makes fuels status to 100% and consumes less energy for shooting. There will be special material that will heal her for 10 seconds and 30 seconds of invincibility, increased speed and attack power.

I think increasing the recharge rate while standing still would be a good compromise.

It can be upgraded and makes less of a problem.
