Ah, that's nice and chill, fun to play for a bit. I would suggest replacing the timer with a score counter, that is affected not only by time, but by objects destroyed, near misses, and so on.

Thanks for playing and for the nice suggestion! I usually dislike score numbers because for me they don't mean much, and the goal of the game isn't to destroy asteroids, so I don't want to incentivize the player to do so by connecting that to the score. Near misses and maybe the amount of asteroids avoided or something similar are a good addition to the score, though.
