So I kept running into the issue where santa would run away and not get the gifts or let you protect him. Seems like a glitch and not intended. Out of the handful of times I played only once did santa collect packages, but then after two he took off again. Neat idea and I enjoyed the music and the ending laugh audio.

thank you so much for playing our game and for your feedback. Yeah this is definitely not intended. We did a lot of playtesting but could not fix all bugs in time due to our inexperience with the engine. Two hours ago I fixed the Santa bug being pushed around by making him chunky (setting his mass to 500) :D But it was to late for the jam.
We will definitely try to further develop this game. It was so much fun :)
