So, as you said pentagons should be allowed as it is Between the rectangle and hexagon, I 100% agree with that. So I will add pentagon to the list.But only regular polygons are allowed. No irregular polygons are allowed.

What about ellipses and cylinders? They are between circle and square
Ellipses is just a circle but it is elongated which is allowed. Cylinders as will just make the lists too large at that point just allow all regular polygons.
No irregular polygons... But what about it? With a rule 4 objects per sprite it is normal..?
See, the shape you have showed in the post is made of regular polygons so, it is 100% allowed
