Ahhh sorry. These issues have now been fixed but didn't make it into the jam submission! Thank you so much for playing and for your feedback.
The jet boots have a cooldown which is supposed to be visually communicated to the player by a bar, but as you can likely tell, the HUD/GUI was unfinished. We are looking forward to posting a much cleaner updated in the near future!
