I had a few people make references to the Crypt of the necrodancer. I have never seen or played it myself and hushed anyone from telling me details because I was worried it would create impurities for my project if I was aware of similar possible influences.

The idea for having sprites move to the beat seemed to be the easiest way for me to utilize koreographer in a 2d experience. This game was mainly a project to push me into learning Ableton and koreographer. Any actual fun from it is wonderful.

Thanks for noticing the beat movement difference. I had to find a way to make it interesting for the player. As I playtested when each character moved at he same time I realized it wasn't as fun as if I, as the player, could move a little faster. Prototyping the change quickly proved to be a better experience and I stuck with it. I only had about 6 hours to work on this game during the jam so a lot of parts were rushed. Thanks for your feedback!
