Played this game a couple times through a while back, hoping to find a perfect/good playthrough, but I don't think that is in the author's vision for the game as I couldn't get through the game without my character either getting c*cked, abandoning his ideals, or his friends/country with seemingly no hope of ever turning the tables on his captors/tormentors.

I know that dark fantasy means that there is f*cked things going on, but I would still like to play as the idealized hero that can turn the tide and prevent or subvert disaster through my strength, charm,  and quick thinking. After several playthrough, I just don't think that is a possibility that will ever be implemented.

So yeah just more dark fantasy where the only real way to play is the bad/selfish guy who only looks out for himself or want to go on a power-trip. Which is a shame too, because I genuinely liked the art style and some of the characters, like the matron goblin merchant, the elf assistant, and some of the other minor characters.

I know what you mean, especially with the whole "Will you be able to change the course of history and maintain your heroic spirit, or will you live to become the undoing of everything you once fought for?" which, I guess is a no to that first part.

A difference of perspective. The game repeatedly forces Rowan to pick the lesser of two evils, precisely because he is trapped in an untenable position by powers far stronger than he is. It sounds like you want there to be some secret 3rd option where good really does triumph over evil and everyone gets their happily ever after ending.

Yeah, I don't think that is ever going to be in the cards. There is no super duper secret happy ending. Being faithful to his wife means tossing his female apprentice to the orc horde to be gangbanged. Why? Cause that's the game the demon twins are playing, and they make the rules. Rowan can choose to save her from that fate, but that means he's going to have to cheat on his wife. Those are the options, and neither is ideal. There is no secret option where Rowan can magic/logic/talk/trick his way into saving the apprentice without violating his marital vows.

The game is not just an asshole simulator, and pretending that's all there is to it is very dishonest. You can make virtuous choices, but they come with sacrifices. Can Rowan and his relationships survive the hardships necessary to maintain his ideals? Maybe, up to a point. But the hard part is figuring out when to push back, and how hard you can without getting Rowan and others killed in the process; and yeah, always picking the most noble option every time is just not going to work here.

Sorry if that cramps your style, but this game doesn't pull its punches here. This game is not a power fantasy, subversive or otherwise.  You as Rowan suffer a series of unfortunate events, and are forced to make the best out of an awful situation; there is no clear and obvious path to righteousness. Either you're down for this dark journey to hell laid with the best of intentions, or you're not. It's not like there aren't dozens of isekai harem fantasies to play if you don't want an experience that challenges you.

First, I don't want a perfect ending. I just want a way to use all the skills, relationships, and previous choices that I spent the meat of my time developing to actually have an effect, and yes ideally help me skirt at least some of the negative consequences of the story, even if I have to make morally gray options to get there. Otherwise the hero of the story can't actually be a hero, and we, the player, are just getting drug through one f*cked scenario after another with no real point, to any of the levelling up or relationship building with the other characters.

Ironically enough, I think it was Helayna's daydream of her and the hero turning the tables and dominating the twins that turned me onto the idea that that was where this game was going, as it seemed like foreshadowing, but I kept waiting for my heroic opportunity to strike back, turn the tables, or use my connections to lessen impact of my options even a little bit and it never came.

So yeah, I like the goal/idea of allowing for the player to slowly turn the tables and gain the upper hand on his captors and potentially choosing to do the right thing or simply replace take his captors place as dark lord or whatever, as that seems much more interesting and dynamic than this 'damned if you do, cucked if you don't' excuse for torture porn, where all my preparations and connections mean diddly d*ck to the overall narrative.

In the end, I just wanted to state with my OG comment that this is a typical "dark fantasy" game, in that its just a poor excuse of a game made to showcase the most f*cked up, sadistic, and depressing scenarios, fetishes, and ideas that the author has crawling around in their mind.

Good time of day. Please tell me if the main character has sex with other women besides his wife, will it affect her if I turn off the scenes from NTR. I hope you will answer my question. Thank you in advance.

(+2)

Yes, the MC can choose to have sex with almost all the characters male and female and the MC's wife does react to a few of them, regardless of whether NTR is turned on or off. For instance one of the first main choices the MC makes is to either keep a female character for himself or throw her to the horde, and if you keep her to yourself your wife grows cold and basically doesn't want anything to do with you. Though with other characters she adopts more of swinger mentality, so idk what to say.

So you're saying that if I cheat on my wife at least once, even if I have Ntr disabled, then in any case, after that, the wife of the main character will arrange Ntr for him? Or are you saying that only if the main character wants to give his wife to someone else, she will arrange an Ntr for him? And are there any events in the game when the wife intentionally cheats on the main character, whether he wants it or not? Thanks again in advance for the answer. =)

In one of the play throughs that I had, yes. I chose to save the Helayna girl from getting gangbanged by the orc horde or her knights and the MC's wife grew cold and during her daily events helping at the dungeon she went and f*cked the dark elf and a merman and I am sure that if I sent her to help out else where in the castle she would probably get f*cked by someone else. Basically the only way to keep your wife faithful to you and avoid any NTR is throw the Helayna girl to the horde, which I find f*cked up and exactly why I don't think the author of this game will ever implement any sort of meaningful RPG mechanics that allow me to avoid stuff like that.

(1 edit) (+3)

It is very sad that there is no way to avoid Ntr in this game. Then I'll have to delete it. I don't like games that have Ntr in any form. Thank you for your time.

P.s. If you know good hentai games/novels without Ntr, recommend them to me. And, if possible, with a great continuation of the plot.

Oh fuck, this garbage story, i will definetly dont play this sh*t :/ i hate Ntr and rape and this game just make me must choice to have one of them :/

So you mean she's just a hoe, who will cheat even if MC help another girl. Thats fucked up man. What was author thinking ? Except for few, we majority of user's hate ntr but author just ruin the story for this disgusting forced(technically) shit. Also I wanna ask you, can't we just kick out this whore wife of MC from his life?
