I didn't actually know the standard menu behaved that way 🤐 I'll change the plugin to be in line with that behaviour so it should work for you once I release the update.

No, i mean the white box that covers the selected item, maybe putting it behind the item sprite or even better being able to customize it using the Windowskin cursor.
Also using a slightly longer description squeezes the text itself

I just realized i can change the background color using the windowskin colors, is there a way to specify the color instead of being locked in 0(white)?
or maybe being able to make a custom background could also be really cool, but i don't wanna give you much trouble
