Awesome puzzle game with a great atmosphere achieved with really minimalist design. You took a few elements really far to make it feel like a horror game from just a few sounds and interesting choices of texture, and the intro text going with the tutorial. Also the tutorial was great at introducing the game and being super easy to pick up and understand.

That being said, I wasn't a fan of the arrow keys being the way to navigate between levels, making my hand jump off the mouse to reach them, or moving my hand from Q/E rotation to the arrows. I think an instant-click to switch maps would have allowed me to play a lot further. I got 1138 but was dying because I had to fumble through the map to find where I needed to fix stuff. This definitely added to the feeling of overload, however!

Really liked this entry, a solid and well-developed concept. I especially appreciate the time put into the tutorial phase. Great work!

Appreciate it!

Yeah I felt the tutorial was important as a lot of game jams kind of just throw you in, and the "inital impression" is always confusion. A lot of atmosphere can be infered from how the instructions are presented as well, so it's always a shame to not see this in other projects.

There was the intention to click on the map to go where you want, as well as being able to use wasd for movement -> hence q,e to rotate, but just forgot to rebind those to what was set in the input map :/

What was also intended was to have the maps where a piece is decaying/broken would flash red and then have a static color. This was too cumbersome with how the code was structured however.

Pretty impressive score though. Good. Excellent.
