A turn-based splatoon type game is interesting. The mechanics themselves took some time to figure out though. The character movement options didn't de-select when going to another player and they started overlapping. I wasn't also sure when I had run out of options for each particular player (ie when I could move/capture). I also never quite figured out how to attack the opposing characters. I assumed that there were more options for each player though since the description mentions that the turn should end automatically when I ran out of options. The capture colors were also the same so didn't know which tiles were captured by which player.

Love the merry-go-round art. Splattering the board was also pretty satisfying. I can also tell you put effort into all the little mechanics and if you had more time I could see this being pretty fun, especially if you were able to add some NPC enemies for single player folks. Great work and really happy that you still submitted the concept!

Thanks for checking things out!

As you might have noticed, yeah, we basically didn’t have enough time to get things functional, attacking and capturing don’t really function fully, as you may have noticed.

I’m still working as we speak on furthering the concept and getting things like attacking and capturing working, so stay tuned!

I’ve noted down the overlapping selects as a bug so thanks for that one, and thanks again for checking things out despite not being finished!
