I could totally make that in Twine, with array methods and the like. The problem is that it wouldn't be much of a display, unless I used actual modular images, but then it wouldn't fit the twine aesthetic. It would be just as easy to play the original low-graphics snake game and use a vivid imagination to do the rest.
I don't mind seeing multi, but it's not really something I seek out, to be quite honest. The passion for the project is the only thing keeping these games from joining my (checks notes) 9 in-progress or shelved ones.
I'm not good at ASCII art, either. The boobs in Yuri were trial and error for a very simple shape. I totally ripped the Earth from some ascii art gallery.
