This looks like your first game submitted to a game jam? Congrats!

Here are my notes, I hope you take it as constructive feedback:

  • I did not understand the light system initially at all. I thought the browser version of the game was broken and the platforms were invisible. It wasn't until I read @AsePlayer's comment about the lighting effects that I went back and realized that somehow I could switch lights and they'd show the platforms.
  • I was able to skip a lot of the platforms (I only needed blue & red) to beat the whole game
  • I did not find the controls intuitive. I dropped the more than half a dozen time by mistake and each time I was scared I'd move and lose it forever stuck somewhere in the darkness lol
  • Probably adding a light respawn is a good idea because of the above
  • More expansive level or other levels would expand the rewardingness of the game

Best of luck, hope to see more games.

Firstly, I really thank you for taking your time to get me some feedback. I am a student and I had a few exams this exact week and because of that I was under tight time pressure. If I had a little more time and energy as well, I would definitely build more advance level or more levels and I would try to make the first default candle more useful. I wanted to add some story telling that will also work as tutorial and secondly a little better sound effects. (I don't want to look for excuses but first time using windows platform, sounds in game and game jam) After all I really enjoyed it, and I am proud of myself. (I'm not an English native speaker, so please excuse language mistakes in my game and this message).

One more thing, which controls would you use for each action? Thank You
