How is your game related to the Theme and Special Object?
Through the whole game you are using candles. Each candle kinda lights different light. Basically each candle shows various part of another world.

So first of all, I almost gave up, but I always read all comments and information after I complete the game. I could not figure out the candle lighting system. After reading I finally figured out you have to pick them up(I finally saw the prompt to pick up, I'm not sure why it never showed on my first playthrough). In my opinion, the candles should start in your hands and then you can choose to drop it to grab another.
Anyways, after playing it through I DID enjoy it and liked the decision to only take certain candles that can only see their color's platform. As others have said I didn't enjoy the controls with switching and lighting candles while also trying to platform. Good game and concept and keep on creating at the young age, you are doing more than most with others your age.
First game? 15 years old? AMAZING! Great work. Keep it up.
I liked the game, and loved the concept. The different candles and colours to reveal different platforms was a great idea. And the puzzle ideas it offers up are cool, and you made some great decisions in that regard.
I did find the controls very unintuitive. I think there's a better way to switch between candles that feels more natural. Maybe use the mouse to click the candle you want to light up or something? Just so the player can see the controls instead of thinking about the controls.
Other than that though, awesome game concept. I played right through to the end. I did just guess where the platforms were a couple of times, but I liked that part. It made it feel like there were more ways to solve the puzzle and I felt clever. Nice work.
Cheers, hope to see more games from you!

Feedbacks like yours are really motivating for me. Thank you so much. You aren't the only one who found the controls very unintuitive, but this was my first game on windows platform and I also didn't think of using PC mouse, so that's a great idea. (Actually this wasn't my first game ever, I have built a few on android devices). If I had more time, I would definitely extend the jumping area. I also played your game before you even rated my game, and I truly loved your art and concept as well. It was one of not many games I had finished playing.
when I was your age I couldn't write a single line of code, congrats for this entry! :)
I really really thankful :D
This looks like your first game submitted to a game jam? Congrats!
Here are my notes, I hope you take it as constructive feedback:
Best of luck, hope to see more games.
Firstly, I really thank you for taking your time to get me some feedback. I am a student and I had a few exams this exact week and because of that I was under tight time pressure. If I had a little more time and energy as well, I would definitely build more advance level or more levels and I would try to make the first default candle more useful. I wanted to add some story telling that will also work as tutorial and secondly a little better sound effects. (I don't want to look for excuses but first time using windows platform, sounds in game and game jam) After all I really enjoyed it, and I am proud of myself. (I'm not an English native speaker, so please excuse language mistakes in my game and this message).
One more thing, which controls would you use for each action? Thank You
Fun game once I was able to grasp the candle controls; they are a little jank but not too bad
Beautiful art and the candle lighting effects were dope too
This was I think the first time trying to build a game for windows, also my first game jam. I hope you got the point of the game also I first time experience creating pixel art. I am so glad you liked the art, and I also really appreciate that you played my game❤️
