thats a good idea

Thank you!

I think that maybe in the beggining of the game could be an text explaining the context, like, the character is a zombie in a kind of dungeon and have to go trough the doors

I have some ideas.

tell me!

Here are some of my ideas:

  • You are placed in the dungeon by some unknown faction of people for some unknown purpose.
  • You died in the dungeon and have unfinished business sort of stuff.
  • Your character is a bounty or treasure hunter.
  • and finally Your character is in purgatory or something

The purgatory idea was my first vision of the thing when creating the designs!

but i kinda like the idea that the character died in the dungeon

My favorite one is the one where you died in the dungeon. Though the purgatory is the one that makes the most sense, as the game could be played forever: With your progress seemingly have amounted to nothing as when you reenter rooms later on the enemies return. Like Sisyphus from Greek myth.

I think we managed to fit both into the story, for example: he died in the dungeon and now he relives the moment several times in different ways

I like that a lot. But how do we explain it to the player?

Edit: maybe we could have his dead body or something and then some text will explain what happen from the characters point of view like waking up from amnesia or something.
