The story and overall idea have merit, and the visual style is pretty unique - I like it!
Though, the gameplay is very slow and it's 99% waiting around doing nothing, so I had it running in the background for a while, but ultimately decided to shut it off early. With some improved army building mechanics and ways to make gameplay more interesting second to second, I think you could absolutely run with the basic premise and make something addicting, like a tower defense or something. Keep at it!
