Revisiting this project is like a fever dream. I made this. I miss the old days :)

Where

This is great! Thanks for your feedback.

It's based on the Apple II CGA graphics.

If you can, then you should try this:

Kinda laggy, but it's really fun!

Thanks.

Is it possible to include a user manual  for our games in the form of a Word document? Thank you.

Nice. You are really proud of your product haha!

So when the door opens, there will be enemies behind it?
But yeah, this looks great!

Thanks a lot for the comment.
I did think of Hotline Miami at some point, considering the fact that it was originally developed with the same game engine that I used to make this game :) I wanted to make the weapons feel snappy and powerful when fired, especially the shotgun. The randomized agents is an interesting design choice from me, as I feel like basing the game off of random chance doesn't feel fair but becomes more exciting :)

Thanks!
Guard hopping was actually an unintended feature. I was originally going to have you selecting the guards you will be "reborn" as when you die. Then I realised it slows the pace of the game down.
The concept I got was inspired by Wolfenstein 3D. It was supposed to be really depressing to highlight the pain of the enemies that always get stomped by the player :> I'll try out your game!

PS: The inventory system was really good, not going to lie :p but I feel like a little bit more visual clarity would be nice. Good luck!

Thanks for responding :>. It's really just a beta built in haste. I'm glad you got some enjoyment out of it.
I am planning to add actual gameplay with story and bossfights, as well as adding mechanics such as kicking, environmental threats and fleshing out the pathfinding.

Thanks a lot for the nice comment. I kinda rushed it during 2 days because I fiddled too much with the AI. I'd love to see your game!
