Theme: Cute robots doing humans' jobs
  1. You made these assets by using AI?
  2. When people won't know anything because AI will do everything instead of them so people won't need any knowledge, maybe I will say that robots are cute but before this moment I won't encourage any AI for big masses

1. No, all hand-made in Aseprite, except for the music, and the public domain sound is from freesound.org. I've got progress screenshots I could post. Want me to mute the music in the web demo? Everything in the download is hand-made by me over the last several weeks.

2. I wasn't encouraging AI, but I understand what you say. Robots have been around for decades before we had AI. I just meant cute pixel robots. In any case, I've added an alternative suggestion that doesn't mention robots. :)

I expected that you are just about robots and not about AI but nowadays any robot is near AI so I don't want to do something that points people mind in this direction (thought I created a game where the story is about AI...)

That makes total sense. It's an interesting idea to think about, but yeah, it's quite unsettling that it's so commonplace now. I'm curious now though, I'll have to check out your game!

Update: I now added Aseprite progress screenshots from the past several weeks as an additional download on the asset page. I hope that reassures you!

Cool! Grid and variations which are made one after another look really like person art. Just a red flag if someone talks about something that could be considered as related to AI art

No worries! That makes sense, it's hard to be sure these days. :) Maybe I should try doing a time-lapse of my drawings next time, and post it with any future art as a little gif.

By the way, I realised you're the same person I've been seeing commenting on many people's CC assets on itch, to tell people how to set their metadata! Thank you for that, I didn't know about asset metadata on itch until I saw your comments when I was browsing assets last year!

I helped many people, yeah and I like it but I am afraid that I committed more harm than brought usefulness to this world... You can find many people who set CC0 or CCBY4 and say "you can't redistribute"... They don't know what it means but set it... My comments are spread on the itch so anyone can find it and many of those who doesn't understand what license mean and just adds it just because... 🤦‍♀️
