The puzzles are a bit dull, but that honestly works to the game's advantage, trying to figure out the meaning at the same time the girl is, but in a completely different way.
I was striving for an easy game where you'd spend more time listening to the story than solving shadow puzzles :D I was trying to lean into an atmosphere, mood and narrative than making a mechanically complex game.
