Gave it a playthrough.
I did not connect with it at all, so I hesitate to give any real feedback on most things; I'm clearly not the intended audience and I don't feel confident in what's a bug and what's a feature. On a technical level, everything seemed to work all right, and I had no problems figuring out how the game worked.
I'll say that the game feels like it focuses a little too much on describing things in text, which really slows things down and wastes the high-quality art in places because you're too busy reading to look at it. Like, you don't need to write down that it's weird that jackhammer noises are coming out of the kitchen for a simple cup of coffee when the player has both audio and visuals showing it happen.
It'd be a hell of a change at this late stage, but having the narration in text boxes inside of the panels might actually be worth it.
