I really like the new base! There's a lot of cleaning and decorating that can be done, which is really cool. The aerial relationship system also sounds very promising. Being able to trade and interact with them in a more positive way is a great idea. Having a mix of bad/good/neutral aliens and events will definitely add variety to the game.
Here are a few things:
- Non-Functional Socket: There's a socket on the second floor in the empty room that doesn't work. Imagine my disappointment after spending a good 45 minutes dragging my mining rig up there, only to find out the outlet doesn't work...
- Drone Return Feature: A "return to base" button for the drone would be very helpful. Maybe it could be a built-in feature, or perhaps a purchasable module or even a separate launch pad you can buy and place on the base for the drone to return to when activated.
Equipping/Unequipping Items: I may be missing something, but I couldn't figure out how to unequip the backpack, hazmat suit, or night vision glasses. This was quite annoying because the vision becomes very wacky when wearing them. Additionally, the backpack doesn't seem to have any functionality at all, and it also seems to give a visual effect similar to wearing a hazmat suit? Finally, all equipped items disappear after loading the game for some reason.Upd: On a new save, the equipment worked properly, and there was indeed a button. The backpack also didn't have any bad visual effects like in the previous one. I guess it was just bugged :/
