Wicked game! 
You did a really good job on the visuals, as well as depth of mechanics. I really like how this game just looks

I really liked the description at mouse hover (this could be a staple of this style of game, but I havent played many ascii games like this before!), it really gives me a sense of trepid exploration, and makes the game feel more storybook. The enemy variety was also a plus!

One thing I would've liked though would be some tooltips for effects/statuses (like vampirism). I'm not sure how youre supposed to figure out what they do otherwise, aside from a lot of testing? This is a complex game though, and one for sure I know takes quite a few playthroughs to really understand and soak in.

Overall this is a pretty wicked submission, I would've been super proud if I had submitted this!

Really glad to hear you enjoyed it! Good point about tool tips. The "help" screens (select "Help" from the menu or press "?" during gameplay) have a page about organ statuses but I agree it would be better to convey that information within the UI directly (e.g. with a tooltip).
