A slower acceleration was something I was aiming for. But in its current form it is to much. I agree with you.
What do you mean with the slipping after landing? Do you mean he carries some momentum after stopping?
Do you have a scenario in mind as an example?

Yes, that's exactly what I meant! For example, I was running to get enough speed for the jump, I jump correctly in the platform, but then the character slips out of it and falls. Might also just be me being bad at the game xD
