Wow! what a unique concept. I don't think I've ever seen it done quite like this! I was really intrigued by the concept and it was playing really well for the most part. But I do not really understand the internal logic of it, cus the rules of inversion don't seem to follow a particular pattern. I would have liked a way to predict what the other world would be whenever I switched, because it was very difficult in the more challenging sections. I started to feel like I was just going backwards at one point and wasn't sure where I should go next. Then I fell back to the bottom level... and had a "getting over it" or "jump king" moment and felt like I lost all my progress :(
VERY cool idea, but i think needs to have a really clear law of what gets flipped so that the player can reasonably predict what to expect on the flip side, especially with some of the leap of faith jumps you need to make in order to survive.
Awesome work! Would love to see this game concept refined further for the super jam!
