Oh my gosh! I totally forgot, haha. I'm doing a lot of game jams this year and it's been a marathon.
**SPOILERS**
Eat the normal charcoal, knock on the tree with the body hanging in it (there's one tree that has a body all the rest are the same two trees) and the person with the unreadable scribbles is the person to kill, there's a hint to that in the newspaper at the beginning.
