I liked this one a lot, the little guys have their bread!
Tying the exploration to the resources was a smart idea, immediately makes exploration feel more interesting as you have some agency on what gets unlocked, even if you don't know what'll be, but that makes it even more fun if a new resource is found, a nice gameplay loop.
The art is nice and the blend of 2D and 3D feels cohesive. The aberration part might be the weakest in the sense that most of the time I ignored it and focused on unlocking new areas, maybe some penalty for letting the aberrations attack the little guys could give it more impact in the game.
and a very small nitpick I think the resources could be available to pick up a tad faster, since we see them hit the floor but then have to wait a sec more for the character to pick it up, might feel a bit better if it gets picked as soon as it looks like it can be picked.
