I've been trying to pay attention but so far enemy attacks seem to be completely random and all seem to be able to do at least 2 types of attacks, si ut just feels like my losses are purely bad luck.am I missing any potential 'tells' to what the enemy might be doing?

aside from this my only issue is that I cant tell how many more days I have doubled xp or how many of a given item I have

Double exp effect end when you sleep, you must always use that item double exp when you wake up. For Inventory, I still need to find a way how to code it into the game

Some enemy like rats only have one move, and when the enemy have two move, it's easier to predict how to defeat that enemy. Example: the enemy only use rock and scissors, so you can always use rock to defeat them, or at least get a tie, and no chance they can defeat you In any way.

Well its a bit of a shame all the demons seem to have access to all 3 making each turn truely random, but I managed to get to the end so I guess I shouldnt complain

Yeah, i just got a suggestion from another player to add a move call "silence" , it make enemy can't use certain move, but i still need to consider how to add it into twine coding. maybe i need to add "Poison" also, making it easier to player to defeat enemy.

Or maybe a way to get an idea of what attack theyre gonna use? I'm not sure when the game decides what attack the enemy uses but it could be interesting if there was some kind of hint to what they were doing? I definately think this combat stystem has a lot of potential ways to take i

but adding it maybe can ruin the code, i'll see what i can do

some enemies have 2 types of attack, they are easy to defeat because there always attack that you can attack enemy and you would have same attack or you deal damage. enemies that are not limited and can use 3 attacks are much harder. enemies tries to remember your pattern, so you can play from this.
