Hello, thank you for playing and rating our game!

I’m not an experienced dev, so can you help explaining why you think idle games are not suited for game jams? It’s true there’s no “real” end to the game, but by completing the collection, you have essentially completed the game.

As much as i would love to have some animations and interactions in the game, time was cutting close. I will try to improve on this in the future

I can get why people can find the UI a little annoying. I will keep this in mind next time

In jams, most people don't want to spend a lot of time playing your game, maybe around 3-10 minutes. But some people play it longer than that too (me included) because I want to give everyone a chance. But an idle game, doesn't really have an end so some people might find it boring to have to wait without a specific goal in mind, meaning maybe they'll drop a bad rating, or just straight up ignore your game. I'm going to use my game as an example. The game is around 3 minutes, if you win your first attempt, but it might seem appealing to some people to play it for more than 1 attempt because it's a simple game, and doesn't take too long. And for idle games, completing a collection could take hours (for jam games maybe up to an hour if you're unlucky)

But I hope you got a learning experience from this game, and keep making games you like to develop!
