I have no clue about any NVG setup for the game. The only reference to anything letting you see through the dark would be the cameras you can buy, which all have IR functionality. If there is an NVG headset, it may not be finished yet.
The NVG appears in the tree house sometime after 21 days. If you replace the NVG with shrimp, the Arirals will forgive you for this theft.
Interesting, I’ll have to look into this on my new save. I’m newer to the game so I had no clue this existed.
Just try not to lose it, otherwise, as it turned out, you can’t get it through the sandbox
