Fashionably late to the party, but I'm here ✨
Ahhhhh, I liked it a lot, it was very immersive! The writing pulls you right into the story, the animated sprites look great, and the voice acting is excellent. 👌 I also love the concept of Geist just lurking around and acting like your personal anxiety assistant (TM) while also being unbelievably smug and charming at the same time 🤭💕 gskgksldks. (I mean, for story reasons, because his teasing annoyed me sometimes, esp. when it'd get super exaggerated) (his voice kinda made up for the annoyance tho lgkdflgdkl)
And the theme is very relatable overall (maybe a bit too much lol 😅). Kalei seems like the perfect (boy)friend to get the MC out of their shell while also not being a perfect human and I think that was a nice touch. I also appreciate that you have to reach out to him to keep up the relationship. It feels realistic: you can't expect the other person to always talk to you first.
Tbh I kinda liked Geist's ending. I expected something more tragic or violent so I was surprised it went the way it did (but in a good way). Of course it's not better than the MC having friends/a boyfriend etc. and I wouldn't call it a positive ending but the message is comforting??? And oddly enough, I feel that at least for me, accepting the fact that I'm a little weird helps ease the anxiety and push through social stuff. I also like that even in the good ending, Geist still lingers around and throws in the occasional comment, but in a more productive way? It's like the anxiety is used for good this time lol, kinda like you can redirect stress and use it for motivation I guess.
Overall, a very cool idea and great execution. 👌 The hype it got is well deserved ^^
