there is no instruction how to remove a node from template

You can remove a node by click the node you want to remove and press delete key.

Will improve this point on further update.

that does not work. I tried with the add many outlines template and tried to remove first node to replace with a picture of my own. I have also tried from new file and does not work.

May I ask what operating system you are using? (Linux, Mac or Win).
Basically I'm developing on Mac and testing Windows version on ParallelsDesktop, Linux version on VirtualBox.

I use Windows. I would love to learn this, would be great if there was a simple uploader where you upload image click the type of end effects you are wanting (like your example images) and then generate it (and still have optional tweaking settings)

So far its very hard to understand and no clear instructions
