Impressive amount of work on your part! It's always a challenge to implement several different gameplays into a single game jam entry, so good job for managing that!
The end fight was the least interesting of the three in my opinion, but the inventory cleaning gameplay and of course the rythm game were really cool.

The flute keys displays being at different heights made it difficult for me to concentrate on the actual horizontal line that is used to time the key presses, but that is just a small issue that might not even be one for most people ;)

Good job!

Very cute art, a chill and peaceful game, not very challenging but a good time for sure!
A great foundation on which to add a few tweaks and features if you feel like it ;)

Really fun gameplay, I love dice and dice building mechanics!
Feels like you put lots of thought into every aspect of the game, and the result is great!
I really like the increasing chance of failure for dice upgrades, great application of the risk vs reward concept.
This might be your first game jam but I hope it's not the last one ;)

Thank you for your comment! I also watched the replay of your stream testing our game (I used to watched your HC episodes looong ago, feels good to hear your voice again!)
I didn't get enough time to implement the last part of the game but you were indeed supposed to see the species go out into the world and develop their civilizations, then trade resources with them for upgrades of your buildings, and get achievements depending on how well they were doing :)
Thanks again for playing and reviewing the game!

Thank you!

Thank you for your comment!
We did not find enough time to implement the "going wrong" side of things, but there is a subtle hint when you build the Bio Lab using a mysterious resource that happens to be your own health... We wanted to have the biologist's death as a motivation to create as many species as you could before the end. But we could not implement the game over conditions in time.

Always very cool and exciting to read your dev logs, thanks for sharing!
Good luck with the maintenance, maybe share a paragraph or two later about what it's like to maintain your previous games, I know it's not always fun...

Very very cute and fun! Great job, congrats to the 4 of you ;)
