Ahh, the explanation window should have popped up before you enter this level. You switch cameras with Q (previous) /E (next)

Could you perhaps attach a screenshot?

Thank you for taking the time to review at least. I did not have enough time (don't we all?) to iron out all the bugs and didn't get to finish the content that was planned. Hopefully the version uploaded now satisfies your expectations.

As it was my first time delving into a visual novel type of game, I indeed had some issues with making it more natural. Hopefully my final version has tackled the issues you had in terms of bugfixes and overall contrast.

Thank you for your review, your game was great by the way

I did exactly what your feedback suggested and added some customizable settings

As you played the very first version it did indeed have some unfinished parts, some of which got rectified about an hour later. The version uploaded now hopefully has tackled most of the issues (except 1).

Thank you, I did indeed continue to develop it. Now the review period is over it can finally be uploaded.

When you right click on the screen the context window appears (that also appears when you usually right click on a website):

Sadly due to a bug, I didn't respawn in a bossfight. Combat system lacked some risk (could mostly play it safe from a distance because enemies couldn't jump over gaps). The fact that the context window when using right click was constantly popping up made it so I avoided using it. perhaps disabling that behaviour makes it more suited for browser builds. The rest of the game looked pretty good

Well done. Got a similar feeling to when I played Stick War : Legacy, when you control a character yourself and are able to outperform the AI. Enjoyed it.

Hey, fun game! Mechanics sometimes a bit tricky (seems tapping has very strange behaviour in specific cases). Encountered a soft lock where I could not change my direction and orbit movement did not change a thing.

My personal best :) (690)

Quite funny that you mention movement controller. Since you control gravity (which gets stronger based on distance) it is supposed to feel that way. Thanks for playing :)

I hope that "not being able to go forward" was due to you succesfully hitting the spider webs that slow you down. The rest I all agree with, lots of customization details were on the to do list but sadly did not make it in time.

Soooooo MUCH JUICE. (maybe a tad bit much but ehh at least you got that down pat)

At least the cover art looks better than what I made :)

You made clever use of the tools you got and nevertheless made a good prototype with several classes to boot! The art did however make it feel a bit lacking  and the short nature of the game did not make it really enjoyable. Would have loved to see a longer version with some difficulty (as the current game mechanics make it quite easy to cheese enemies).

Hotfix applied. Controls now work :)

Apologies for hijacking your comment to MikeDaGuy. Would it be okay to add you as well in case there is some game project you want to cooperate with? If not I totally understand (as I did not reply to your message during the gamejam)

Haha no problem. The goal of what I had envisioned wasn't reached and this ended up being a broken version. If you really like the visuals or are interested in a multiplayer focussed game, perhaps look if I have made it a reality in the future. It is definitely still a work in progress and I will continue working on it even after the game jam.

Yes, I just took some random sentence samples from the Typeracer site. So that could definitely be done in an update to balance the difficulty level

EDIT: I just updated the game and did some balancing. You should now encounter approximately the same size texts per difficulty category.
