Ah damn. I haven't dealt with playing it on android.

Gotta uninstall the previous versions (manually - the itch.io app doesn't quite remove all the files) and reinstall the latest version.

Alternatively, you could move those files to a different folder and install the latest version.

There's something with the way the itch.io app handles multiple versions of the game that makes it glitchy.

The developer has temporarily removed that sequence because the animations broke with the recent update.

There's also a rewrite going on, so the animations needed to be redone anyway.

Delete the previous versions of the game and keep only the current one, and itch will be able to run it properly.

Nevermind. It seems I thought I had bought the clothes already, but I was trying to save and load too many different times I had forgotten to buy them on the current run.

The controls on the game are a little janky, but it's serviceable. I'm actually a little curious what it looks like when you have every animal in the Cafe.

That's not a bad thing. We need more games like that. And my friends, brothers, and I couldn't get enough of LOVERS, so another game with similar mechanics will be appreciated.
