There's no way to proceed:
Strange thing. I chose my legacy - smite - and some time later started a new run, but there was no relic. I thought that maybe I refreshed the page and I'm starting clean. But no, there's no visible relic but heretics stepping on pope's blessing are still liquidated!
EDIT: Also the relic wasn't available when choosing legacy. I had only two other relic, both of which were available.
That sounds interesting, it might somewhat counter the strategy of cutting off parts of the board and taking damage in late stage.
Right now I find the Khan Legacy pylons the biggest obstacle. If they appear in the middle of the board they can end a run early by cutting you off of large parts of the board. I'm sure there's a way to counter that, just haven't found one yet ;)
Just a small thing, the cross disappeared for some reason, I needed a moment to find it.
Later the Brutes decided to huddle together until they died after moving.
I have a question regarding the endgame. What am I doing wrong? My runs could go on forever, but I'm usually ending them after several hours because sleeps important 😅 I've collected multiple mouldy keys and grails but nothing happens? In one daily run I managed to go to that different level, but I don't remember what I might have done differently than in normal runs. I'd think that after getting so far I'd finally reach the end.
Today's blessing from daily - Crystal Cascade caries over to normal runs. Not sure if the curse as well, because it is harder to check.
I mean, I played the Daily, then started a normal run and the Crystal Cascade effect works even though I don't have this blessing. Starting new run and restarting the game doesn't fix that.
I'm not sure if it happens to all runs, or only these played after doing a Daily.
I love it! Really like the atmosphere, enemies look great. I really hope we get more :)
Jumping is a bit finicky (at least for me!), I would expect that hitting W twice would get me to the higher platform, but instead I have to time it and hit somewhat slower to actually be able to get up.
Initially a special abilities under arrow keys seemed like a weird choice, but after some playing it is ok. But still I would prefer to have them under different keys, like: M , . / I'm still sometimes confusing them with WASD.
First run I bought the companion, but upon entering the portal the game crashed (I forgot to copy the error)
Second run I got enough money to buy not only the companion but an upgrade for it. So I got straight for the upgrade omitting buying the companion first. This way a wasn't able to get it at all.
So after playing for a long while I decided to reset progress, but the game crushed again.
I get this error every time I try to run it:

I hadn't figured out how to make it run again :(
It's a really nice short game. But winning is nearly imposible or it was for me. I tried several times in the web version, few times in windows version and every time near the end of second year or even earlier the game would start to bug.
Instead of five cards I would go as low as two card. RNG is impacting you gratly with five cards and makes the game imposible when you have less.
Also in windows version when you lose there's no other way to go back to start or close the game other than puling up the task manager...
Hope to see the game fixed beacuse everything else is amazing :)
O, I feel you are going to love Wispwood Forest, especially Raid Mars mode if you like that strategic element of the game.
I really like that cards other than our hero can interact with each other like in Ride Hades leaving mushrooms with 1 HP for him to blow up and subsequently poison himself. And that's a prominent and very fun mechanic in Wispwood Forest, Raid Mars with the Ottomans especially.
You pointed perfectly what I love about this game. Luck is very important but your strategic decisions are even more so.
I've been playing for a while now and it seems to that the most common cause of death for me is Chillbane. Recently I mostly play with Jin and in later game it's rather hard to defeat it. Is Chillbane supposed to react to ranged attacks? Because every 6(?) turns it deals more than half of the hero HP and has attack that's also about half or more so it's almost impossible to survive it if you don't kill it instantly. If it is a feature then it would nice to have it included in the monsters info (I couldn't figure out why I'm dying instantly)
BTW I can't wait for the new dungeon :)
