ive never been so excited to the point of being physically ill before

launched the game and almost started crying because its like kind of just everything ive ever wanted from a game. im not hopeful this will be worked on anymore but good GOD do i need it

i pretty much just use rpg maker and wolf rpg editor for my games so far, im honored by the question but i'd say there are much better people to ask!! for me its just been a lot of artistic practice and fiddling around with game engines until im comfortable. its a long process but stick to it!!

when i played nowhere mi i had such an intense moment of nostalgia cuz i was like "this map is...LITERALLY the exact same map as a browser MMO i played once?" and i thought i was going insane. anyways im kind of in love with you platonically

thank you for your feedback! i hadnt considered the specific hierarchy of the character interaction events so i wasnt sure why i was getting a similar error where the little dialogue bit was skipped but youre probably right. definitely something for me to consider in the future! the fishing minigame thing is worrying because it is the key mechanic of the game, and you can't really progress without it... i'm surprised i didnt consider a more in-depth control guide for it. once again, thank you!

i'm really glad you enjoyed the game! ill admit the music was a bit of a last-minute thought, but i didnt even think abt different tracks for different times of day, thank you! and thank you for leaving a comment as well, i really appreciate the feedback!!

probably not the worst oopsies here, but because i'm using a smaller size for actors + tilesets i've been consistently either making them too big or exporting them too small. The latter is an easy fix, but the former...well. i had to remake an hour's worth of art bc of it >__<

thank you!! i'll see if i can carry out my concept in rpg maker first, otherwise i'm glad you're open to it!

im wondering if i would be allowed to use wolf rpg editor for a submission - it's not technically part of the rpg maker series but some of the classics were made in it and i feel more comfortable using it. if not, i'll just use an actual rpg maker engine, so no worries either way.

(1 edit)

hi! i was curious since i checked the steam update for the editor which said you have to use the built-in resolution options to enter, but i was planning on making my game on the smaller side with a resolution of 320 x 180 and that doesnt seem to be an option despite being the same aspect ratio (i think?? im not the best with aspect ratio stuff..)

anyways i just wanted clarification on this part of the rules i guess, can i make my game at 320 x 180 and then use the enlarge display option to enlarge it x4? or should i stick with the presets implemented specifically for this jam??

thank u for telling me that the rtp is required thats good to knwo!! also im glad u like the art and music!! when u say invisible menu item do u mean on the main/start menu? because yes thats on purpose! kind of. i cant really get rid of it lol. but um otherwise its probably not on purpose!!

thank you very much ^__^
